Uhh... woops

So, that was a great way to start off, eh? Make a goal to write every week and skip my first chance to write - all right! I rock! Anyways, This week is thanks giving and I'm pretty stoked about getting to go back home to see my family and what not. Plus, theres no school! Yeah! Bummer is right whne i get back i start a bunch of midterms 'n stuff. I'm not really too excited about that. Anyways, I've got to get back to my rigorous work schedule... yeah for thousands of letters... every day... for the rest of my life... yeah... sweet.. giggidy...

I'm a slacker!

So, it's my guess now that after two months, those few that actually read this thing are long gone, but hey, its worth updating a little bit. I'm currently sitting at work (which is oh so exciting, let me tell you), and got to checking everyone else's blogs, and so I'm making a resolution now to make at least one post a week. Then, if nothing else, I've got something of a journal for myself, woot!

P.S. BRANDON AND BRI YOU'RE MARRIED AND STUFF! GO YOU! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
P.S.S. If you stay in St. Louise to play ball rather than come out here and game with me, I will find you, and you might mysteriously come up missing, so take that into consideration.
P.S.S.S. I might not be strong enough to carry you to the car, so if you're willing to walk out to the trunk for me, that'd be great, thanks!

And it could all be yours...... if the Price is Right!

After five days of nothing but fun, I felt it fitting to write a little blog and give a shout-out to my girl, Hannah Shirley!

Hannah flew out this week to visit, and it was amazing! We did everything from the beach, Third-Street Promenade and Six Flags: Magic Mountain to Grauman's Chinese Theater and a recording of the Price is Right!
Heck, while we were on Hollywood Blvd she even convinced me to buy myself a new man-purse for a backpack up at school. I was reluctant, but heck, when ya got a girl like Hannah tellin you how amazing it looks, I guess I didn't really have a choice, right?

I feel bad - I know I really need to write more on here, but I'm honestly runnin a blank after having woken up at 4:30a.m. to get in line for the 4p.m. taping of the Price is Right, so I'm pretty beat. I have to admit, Hannah, you've made a fan out of me! I'm day-dreaming as we speak of winning the Showcase Showdown! We've TOTALLY got to do it again during winter semester! Spring Break 2009! Ooo oooo!!!! *hands in the air*

Hannah! We're gonna miss you up at BYU while you're rockin out in Scotland with Coldplay!

Always remember - me and the lobster head love you!

Its about time, right?

Wow, it sure has been a long time! Finally I have something worth writing about, heh. Anyways, So far the summer has involved working and chillin. Really nothing too exciting, and thats why my stupid blog doesn't have a dang thing on it.

Anyways, right now I'm up in Richfield, Utah for a fishing trip with my brother and my dad. It's really been amazing so far, and I've only been here for two days! It's been over two years since I've been to the lake and thats making it even more amazing.

Today we went out to 7-mile stream and caught 40-somethin fish - not too shabby. This really is paradise though... Beautiful blue skies, wide open meadows, streams, and wildlife. Heres just a few pictures of the trip so far. I'll try and take some pictures of the little critters up here. Ah, vacation is wonderful!

Its been a long long time!

Alright, so it really hasn't been all that long at all, but I figured it was a good title....

So my stay at home has been amazing! Today I had the chance to go to the Los Angeles Temple with my mom 'n dad and it was great! Nothing like being with your family there in the temple.

In other news, I've just been hangin' out a lot. No job yet - supposedly a temp agency is finding me a job and I should find out soon. We'll see how that goes -_-

Right now I'm actually watching E.T. the Extra Terrestrial and it's pretty cool! I haven't actually sat through the whole movie since I was like 10, heh. Odd thing is, I didn't figure out E.T. meant Extra Terrestrial until I was like 16 or 17... Not the sharpest tool in the shed now am I.... sad, but true.

Tomorrow I'm going to experiment with the local singles ward - also known as the "old unmarried ward" - hopefully we can have some good luck!

The beast that haunts my dreams!

Well, more to make a habit than anything else, here's another post.

Since I've gotten home, recurring nightmares have disturbed my sleep. Each time I close my eyes, I'm haunted by a creature so fearsome, my blood freezes and I awake in a cold sweat. He's always there - watching, waiting...!

Ok, well I'll be honest, none of that is really true in the least. Isn't he cute! That's Fritz, the family pup! He's only 4 months old so he's kinda small, but that adds to the fun! Go dog!

Moving on! I'm not sure if any of the rest of you felt it, but church was weird... really weird! Family wards don't really hold anything for me anymore I guess... As cliche and lame as it is, I think I'm going to have to investigate the local singles ward to try to indulge myself in some college-age fun.

Well - time to sign off for the night. Special shout out to you Hannah - congrats on makin' it back to Mississippi! I couldn't make that drive from Provo..... ever! Glad you made it home safe!

Back to the Beach

after a short drive down california street, dad and i showed up at a local car show called "back to the beach". with engines roaring and tires squealing, we made our way around the ventura fair-grounds checkin' all the sweet old-school cars - everything from 1930s chop-top model a's to the phat 1960s surf-board-sportin woodies. we even got to see a four-foot merc!

after taking our time paroozing the car show we went and i got to finally go back to the beach myself after a two 'n a half year hiatus. to say the least, it was incredible. pods of dolphins and rogue hump-back whales were only a couple things that made the trip so amazing. we also had the opportunity to cruise down thomas street and get authentic fish tacos from carrelies - so delicious! anyways... i think i've said enough. i'll leave a bunch of pictures of for you to see - let you see the beauty of ventura and rincon beaches yourselves.

enjoy!

Every day you learn something new!

I can now testify that that statement is indeed true...

Today it was brought to my attention that the family cell-phone bill was staggeringly higher than it should have been - $400! That would have been great to have learned on its own, but my wonderful mother so willingly told me that $147 of it was due to my 700 text messages, which after talking to the nice man at the Sprint store, we learned cost $0.20 a piece... Pretty sweet, huh? It's not all bad though - we fixed it so that rather than my mom's phone getting infinite texts, I do, and all for no extra cost! Maybe I'll get good enough to rival the Sprint Store's record for text messages in one month - 12,000!

We've decided to keep it all a secret from dad - I'd like to see the sun of another day!

Three's Company

Hello world! Actually - lets be real - Hello Hannah and Dani! Until more people figure out I'm here, this will basically be a communication between us three, so we'll skip the introduction.

Today I made the long trek from Utah down to my home town of Valencia, California. That's a total of ten hours of straight driving. Needless to say, with ten hours of driving by myself, I had plenty of time to think.

As I drove, I came to a few conclusions. First, I thought about my friendships up in Utah - who each one of my friends was, what the meant to me, and how we got along. After thinking about the relationship I have with you two girls, it struck me... it was all so clear! I knew I had seen the exact same situation before on television; I realized that our friendship paralleled that of Jack Tripper, Janet Wood, and Chrissy Snow - That's right, we are the cast of the popular 1977 sitcom "Three's Company"! I don't know why it took so long to realize, but I actually think it's quite fitting.

Of course, Dani would play the role of Janet (pretty sweet make-up! Take notes ladies!), I would be the dashing stallion Jack Tripper (I mean seriously, look at those sweet shorts), and Hannah is the lovable Chrissy Snow (is her hand really reaching down my shirt?). For real, can't you see it? Every episode starts with the three starting some kind of fight amongst themselves, but by the end of the half-hour they all love each other more than ever!

Whats better is I even realized that while our trio had its fare share of adventures, we must remember that every so often they got a small visit from their good friend Ralph Furley, who in our real live drama is none other than the champ Jon Lysy. Don't deny it... I know you're imagining the whole thing right now!

Yeah.... well.... That's only the beginning of the depths I discovered as I spent those long ten hours alone. It's amazing what you come up with when no one else is there to entertain you!

Anyways! My small dog Fritz is chewing off my arms at the moment, so I can't really devote any more time to writing. I miss you two already!
