Well now.... ironic that I've named this "The happenings...." when really I haven't posted ANY happenings at all - almost two years and no posts, boy that's lame. Well, its time for me to quit being a slacker and update this thing! Mikelle writes in her journal every day, so I figure I can at least get SOMETHING down on here every day.Now, for the thousands of you out there wondering "What amazingly inspirational event has inspired this truly magnificent man to start writing again?" Well let me tell you first that Good things can come in small packages! I was recently stalking slickdeals.net and found an amazing deal on a net-book. I'd been debating whether to buy one for months, but I finally pulled the trigger, and boy I'm not disappointed! Weighing in at a whopping 2lbs and having a 12" screen, this thing is going to be perfect for classes! I figure since I spent the money on the computer, I need to at least be productive with it while I'm not in class, so I'm dedicating myself to writing here now.
So, in other news, sadly the last week I've been left to fend for myself while Mikelle has been on vacation. So while she's been playing in the Havasupai village, I've been forced to fend for myself and keep myself 
entertained, which has oddly enough been more difficult than I ever could have thought! Hours work, games, and the occasional visit to some buddies has kept me entertained. Needless to say, It would be amazing to be at that waterfall - cool water, warm rocks, hot girlfriend with me! A fella can dream can't he? Instead, I've slowly turned myself into this guy.

Its OK though - while I may be a disgusting blob, at least I have plenty of padding to keep myself warm while its snowing outside. Plus, oddly enough all those fat roll make a great cup-holder for my Rt44 Diet Dr. Pepper with vanilla and easy ice!
Alright, well I've babbled enough and I think I've accomplished my goal of writing at least something on this dang blog! Only two more days and these posts will get a bit more coherent, because I'll finally have gotten to see my girl after the week and a half of driving myself insane. Mikelle - come hoooooooommmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
